Youth Spot is a place for kids, run by university students. Friends who build it with us through a monthly gift are our “Oikos Philos”.
You can change your amount or cancel at any time.
What is Philos?
OIKOS is a Greek word meaning “home” or “a place to belong.” Philos means “friend” or “companion.” Its root, “philo,” carries the feeling of loving, cherishing, and holding something dear.
We don’t call the people who give to us “donors” or “supporters.” We call you Oikos Philos: friends who gather in the same oikos, under the same roof, connected by love. We hope you’ll let us call you that.
Children gather at Youth Spot, and students spend time beside them. Philos watch over those smiles from a short distance.
As a Philos, you’ll get small gifts: glimpses of our work, the scenes behind it, and words from the children and students. We’ll also record your name and hopes in OIKOS’s story.(We will begin listing names on our website in stages from August 2026.)
At ¥100 or ¥10,000 a month, you’re equally dear to us. We hope you’ll choose an amount that fits your life now and let it carry your hopes. More than the size of a gift, we value you staying with us.
Above all, we hope for lasting bonds where we can say “See you again.” We’re heading toward a society where every child looks forward to tomorrow. Will you walk with us?

How your gift is used
Running our sites
We keep Youth Spot running day to day, so children can always come back and say “I’m home.”
Supporting students
We help students who share daily life with the children keep going, without strain.
Opening new sites
We prepare new Youth Spots for those who say, “We want a place like this here, too.”

At any amount, we share one view.
In a year, ¥1,000 a month can support one Youth Spot session.
In a year, ¥3,000 a month can support one Youth Spot site for a month.
In a year, ¥10,000 a month makes dozens of kids want to come back.

Make a one-time gift
Any amount from ¥500. A Youth Spot site costs about ¥50,000 a month, and one session about ¥20,000. Your gift goes toward that, with care.

Why start from ¥100 a month?
Most monthly giving programs start at ¥500 a month; OIKOS chose ¥100 on purpose. We wanted to make it easier to join work that makes society better.
“I want to help, but I can’t give much.” We hope people who feel that way join us too, without strain. Philos is a circle of friends first, a fundraiser second.
Having 100, or 1,000, friends at ¥100 a month builds trust in OIKOS and helps us create more places for children. What supports us most is not the amount, but having you with us.
